First and foremost, I became a massage therapist because I have a firm belief in and respect for the power of human touch. In today's world, we are inundated with graphic and widespread examples of traumatic touch through crime, violence, wars etc...I seek to provide a safe haven from these events and images by engaging in massage therapy in a professional, safe environment. I believe that massage is an essential tool for well-being. In our high stress society, regular massage is a necessary part of taking care of oneself. Massage Therapy connects the mind and body. The mind body connection can help a person deal with difficult times in their life. My personal experience has shown me how important Massage Therapy is for injury recovery because it can maximize the healing processes. Massage Therapy gives me the opportunity to work with people and help others. I truly love what I do.
