Education History
Graduate of Cortiva Institute, class of 2009.
My education began in 2007 while attending Cortiva Institute. After graduation in 2009 I began my own business mainly practicing the Hawaiian style of massage called LomiLomi. Roughly translated this means 'rub' but lomi is so much more. It includes lots of oil and long, full body strokes which warm the tissue and increase circulation. Rather than just using hands, I will use elbows forearms and ocaisionally knees to vary the techniques and pressure. After a Lomi massage, you may feel euphoric and need to drink lots of water to flush out toxins. Hot stones can be a wonderful addition to help treat deeper structures within the body. I focus on bringing positive energy and compassion to the client and working with your body to help it heal and function optimally as it will, once pain and tighness is removed.
