I have always had a love of massage as both a client and a 'practitioner' well before i enrolled in a massage program. Over the years friends and family would comment on what an intuitive sense of the body and muscles I seem to have. Eventually i took my love of healing in the form of massage to the next level. I started as a Swedish based therapist after completion of massage program with Cortiva Institute but through practice I quickly evolved into treatment-based therapist with a greater focus and interest in sports/physical rehabilitation treatment. I incorporate myofascial work with clients when and where I can to help facilitate initial release of adhesions with other fascial-restricted structures. This affords me the ability to better address and treat the root of the problem; providing a more productive massage for both therapist and client . Unfortunately many of us carry emotional and physical stress that manifest in various forms including hyper-tension and restricted range of motion. Left untreated, these symptoms may, for example, settle into muscle guarding with chronic soreness that will not be cured by modern medicinal approaches.

For the past year I have been an Independent Contracting LMP working out of my home with a diverse clientele many of whom are regular clients. My clients consistently praise my welcoming personality and customized approach of treatments. My successes thus far have awarded me new referrals and even more importantly affords me the ability to network on a larger scale. I am very happy with my home business but I also seek work in a clinical setting with hopes of treating an even larger demographic as more people turn to bodywork for real solutions in treating life's many ailments.
