About Greg Fulton:

As a massage therapist, Greg's mission is to help musicians gain control and awareness of their bodies, treating each individual artist as a superb and finely skilled athlete.

Greg Fulton has been (and still is) a professional musician for 20+ years. He holds a degree in composition, and has worked as a solo performer (guitar), side-musician and educator. Additionally, he has worked for 15 years as an organist and choir director.

Greg has played numerous recording sessions, orchestrated for musical theater and played regularly with local bands such as "Carrie Clark And The Lonesome Lovers" and the "Jazz Police" big band. You will also find him in the pit at either the 5th Avenue Theatre or Village Theatre where he has worked for 11 years.

In 2008, Greg's musical career was halted due to the onset of Focal Dystonia, a neurological condition in which the brain sends erroneous signals to specific muscles causing them to lose functionality. The recovery for Focal Dystonia is long and arduous. Bodywork and movement modalities (Alexander Technique, Body Mapping) have made recovery possible.

Through this experience, Greg became acutely aware of how precarious a musicians life can be when faced with an injury that threatens not only a livelihood, but a passion as well.
