I managed all aspects of Luna Bella Wellness Spa, a massage therapy, healing arts, and wellness practice located in a historic building in Downtown Loveland. As owner and operator, I personally managed client relations including intake, calendering, and payment negotiations. I also established relationships with vendors, completed regular inventory, supply and product orders, and maintained a welcoming, clean, and comfortable treatment space. I oversaw accounting, managed payments, and was responsible for contracting housekeeping services for the entire building where my center was located (it housed 4 tenants total). In addition, I actively promoted my services in myriad ways to help establish my business. I engaged in Internet marketing, created signage in the community, advertised in newspapers, and weekly publications and through regular, ongoing attendance at health fairs where I also networked with fellow therapists in the area to promote wellness connections for clients.

Built clientele with referrals from 9 stylists, and one nail tech in busy salon. Family operated salon, continual for four generations of clientele for each stylist/nail tech. Kept updates on clients well being and rescheduling with clients. Weekly check in on co-workers continued support/ adjusting as I cared for their clientele. Created all advertising and marketing within the salon for spa related promotions including, treatments complimentary to scheduling before stylist appointment. Working for this salon was a great opportunity on team structure experience and working together.
Other responsibilities included scheduling within shared room and waxing appointments. Salon did not have receptionist, all inquiries direct to stylist which referred client or to client themselves, while maintaining client confidentiality and high ethic standards. Cleanliness of treatment space and waiting area for Spa clients, as well as upkeep of salon waiting rooms. All Laundry services and Spa equipment, retail, spa pantry stock items were supplied by myself.
