Over the decades I have developed Omsho Crysalis Therapeutics.
Educating clients on how to change their mental and physical perceptions is also a large part of the work. Shift their concept of deep tissue from bone -> tissue -> bone force - to Shifting muscle away from bone and coming from under the structure to achieve release. This is a keystone of the work in Crysalis.
The guiding principle is that "it does not have to hurt to heal".

This is accomplished by really listening to all clues the client and their body give. Physical positioning, breathing, body holding and energetic. I teach clients that they really are one body, one connection and multiple interconnections between what they feel in one location, can have a causality from another.
Working smarter - working without causing intense pain (that is where the massage stops), working meditatively and with care. Also remember that today, client body is not the same as their body next visit. Their left side is not the same as their right side.
Be willing to step outside of your box of "routine" and provide them what they need - per side and in the now.

Professional History

I've had my own private practice since 1991 but have also worked conjointly in the technical computer industry. I opened my own full time studio in January of 2008 in downtown Seattle.

We're moving to the Phoenix AZ area at present.
We train therapists in hands on attentive modalities and how to correctly hear what the body is saying.
