Having practiced massage therapy since 2001, I have experienced and come to believe each person and injury, are unique to the lifestyle they lie within, and thus the treatment I provide is tailored and balanced individually. Communication with clients is of utmost importance to my practice, as to whether or not a specific technique is helpful, comfortable and suitable for the condition present. Educating my clients about massage and their own bodies is an integral part of the massage I provide so that we can understand each other and so that you get the most out of your treatment. My career in Massage Therapy has required me to be creative and explore new ways to help clients realize they have the power to heal themselves. Encouraging them to connect with their goals, and support their own journey to wellness so they can get back to the lifestyle they enjoy most. I balance Injury Treatment skills with Deep Tissue, Trigger Point Therapy, Sports Massage, Myofascial Release and Hydro Therapy applications. I am very comfortable working with pregnant clients- along any portion of the gestation journey. Perhaps one day I will become a Certified Dulla. I am currently working to attain my Thai Yoga Massage Certification, and hope to have that completed by 2015. I also have some basic experience with Shiatsu and Reflexology, though am not certified practitioner of those modalities. Be well, Namaste.
