Permit me a moment to introduce myself. My name is Maria James and I am a Massage Therapist. I know I could be of great value to your office because I am valuable. The accomplishment I am most proud of is graduating as the Valedictorian of my Massage Therapy program. I believed it and told everyone I would be. When I successfully completed my task on graduation day I proved to myself that I can do anything I say I can do.
Although I have only been practicing massage for 3 years, my life pre massage therapy has significantly contributed to my passion for massage and bodywork. My background in Sociology allows me to understand and connect with people on a deep level. Promotional modeling strengthened my communication skills, which helps in delivering the message of wellness now.
I am hard worker who is in awe of the human body and loves doing massage and bodywork. In my last position as Lead Massage Therapist I significantly contributed to the development of the business from bringing in new patients to finding new staff members. I was responsible for the design of the service menu and brochure, which really reinforced my understanding and ability to clearly communicate the types of therapies offered. My role in marketing and promotions often placed me outside of the actual massage room, as I would go to community events and was the company representative in the Chamber of Commerce. I have always served as an asset to my past employers, and my experience would make me an even greater asset to you. My motto in life is I aim to please.
