Psoas Massage + Bodywork - Soma, San Francisco is looking for therapists to join our team. We are a clinic with a fantastic clientele of athletes, deskworkers, and those who value great bodywork. We only hire the most educated, experienced, and dedicated massage therapists, and continue to support our therapists to grow professionally.
Psoas is a very professional environment—peaceful and private, and therapy rooms are spacious with mostly hydraulic tables. We are able to have a fulfilling work environment because we are serious about what we do, and we are hoping to find similar bodyworkers to join our practice. Salaries are very competitive and they vary, depending on experience and skill level. We have an ongoing stream of new clientele.

Requirements:
1. Initial Massage Education in Western Massage Modalities of at least 800 hours
2. Additional workshops/continuing education (500+ hours) in Sports and Clinical Massage like the modalities listed below:
• orthopedic massage
• trigger point
• Rolfing
• active release technique (ART)
• soft tissue release
• neuromuscular training
• active isolated stretching
• Hendrickson
• structural integration
• manual therapy
• Sports Massage etc.
3. Minimum of 2,000 professional massages outside of School Clinic Hours
4. Knowledge of how to stretch most every muscle in the body and ability to teach clients
5. Strong experience forming treatment plans for clients
6. Success in healing injuries
7. Good understanding of successful rebooking practices
8. Experience referring to other professionals like Personal Trainers, Pilates Instructors, Physical Therapists for strengthening and training muscles
9. Positive energy to add to our work environment and help to bring clients into the studio
10. Must be available for at least 4 shifts (4-5 sessions per shift), Saturday and/or Sunday a must.
