I love massage. Slow and deep, light and brisk, rythmic and relaxing, intense and therapeutic. While I enjoy doing all of these, my heart lies with treatment work. I remember my first trigger point release - from a massage student at the Greenlake School of Massage many years ago. It relieved my pain, and changed my life. A few years later I was in a car accident, saw a chiro and LMP, and suffered severe whiplash pain for 5 months - until I found an amazing chiropractor and a truly skilled treatment massage therapist. In one treatment session, I attained the first real relief from my pain. The sensitivity the LMP had in his hands, and his extensive knowledge of the body inspired me. It took several more years, and several more minor injuries for me to leave a job I loved but that injured my body and drained my energy, and finally go to massage school.

Now I have the opportunity, the education, and the ever-developing palpation skills to be able to give back. My four years of practice has been mostly injury treatment and medical massage. I am drawn toward structural work, and find I am always learning, every day.

I would love the opportunity to work in a multi-disciplined clinic, where I can continue to be challenged and grow as a practitioner!
