Outpatient Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Services (OPT) is a privately-owned practice with 35 years history of providing comprehensive orthopedic care in South King County. OPT also proudly provides many specialty services, including Occupational/Hand Therapy, Vestibular/Balance Services, Sports Medicine, Chronic Pain Management, Work Injury Treatment, Massage Therapy and Women's Health.
Outpatient Physical Therapy supports learning and professional development of all clinicians through in-services, study groups, and hosting continuing education courses. This emphasis on the importance of professional growth is paired with a sincere passion to not only provide a service, but to truly serve our patients.
OPT is currently seeking a Licensed Massage Therapist to work for our fast-paced company in our Kent and Renton clinics. This immediate opening is for full- time employment. New graduates are encouraged to apply!
We are looking for a compassionate individual interested in pursuing professional growth within the field of Treatment Massages.
The position requires working with patients to create individually designed programs of massage therapy treatment to maintain, improve or restore physical functioning, alleviate pain and prevent physical dysfunction. The position involves working with the onsite physical therapist to align patient plan of care. Candidates must be able to document patient care and treatment in a timely manner and with clear, professional communication. Adherence to professional, ethical and legal standards of practice is a must.
Hours of position: This is a full time position, which entails 6 one-hour massages per day, Monday-Friday
Compsensation: We offer the ability to choose between two pay models-per hour wage or per hourly massage rate. The per hour wage will start at $18/hour for new grads. The per hourly massage rate will start at $34.24 for new grads. Wage increases based on years of experience! More information will be provided during the pre-screening interview.
Job Requirements: Current WA State Massage Therapist license and Certification in Massage Therapy from accredited massage therapy program is required. Insurance credentials are preferred but not required. A position is available immediately.
