Medical Massage Therapist job in Redmond

GENERAL SUMMARY
Provides an exceptional experience for the members and guests of PRO Sports Club. All services are performed with knowledge, skill, enthusiasm, friendliness and a willingness to help others. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Properly addresses and delivers services for guests according to prescription provided by a Physician
- Work in collaboration with Physical Therapists and Personal Trainers as necessary
- Completes medical chart notes for each patient thoroughly and submits for processing with accuracy within a 24 hour period
- Maintains compliance with HIPAA regulations and policies
- Adherence with PRO Club draping protocol
- Keeps the rooms clean, organized and “Show Ready” at all times per PRO club standards and Washington state DOL laws.
- Adheres to (written) room standards for set-up, restocking, and cleaning
- Attends monthly Sports Medicine staff meetings
- Recommends “home care” program for all patients
- Addresses concerns of clients appropriately and accurately.
- Ensures sheets and face cradle covers are taken to laundry at the end of each treatment
- Strives to increase knowledge by attending continuing education classes in related courses
- Willing to assist co-workers with any questions and concerns they may have
- Willing to work extra hours or flexible schedule when called upon
- Willing to sub and/or trade shifts with others
- Calls substitute (co-worker) when sick or unable to work a particular shift
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management
- Maintains active license
- This position requires the provider be credentialed with all insurance plans accepted by PRO Sports Club
- Ability to communicate with Medical Billing department and with clients regarding insurance coverage and restrictions.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

- A graduate of an accredited massage school with a minimum of 600 hours

- One or more years’ experience as a licensed massage therapist

- Customer service experience is preferred

- Experience in body treatments is preferred

- Current CPR Certification required (From either Red Cross or American Heart Association)

- Credentialed with major insurance plans.
