Extraordinary Licensed Massage Therapist job in Seattle

Things are picking up, and Sacred Rain Healing Center is looking for bright, magical massage therapists to bring their unique skills and compassion to the table at Seattle's only indoor/outdoor hydrotherapy spa.

The ideal practitioner will be professional, friendly, thoughtful, present, proactive, responsible, focused, enthusiastic and reliable. Experienced therapists are preferred, but will consider exceptional bodyworkers who are relatively new to their license. Must be solid and confident in their area of expertise.

Practitioners work as independent contractors. Compensation is 40 percent of the service fee, plus all gratuities. If you bring your own clients in, your compensation goes up to 60 percent of fees collected. Therapists also get unlimited access to spa facilities for themselves and a significant other (when we fully reopen), and are eligible for generous discounts on bodywork from other practitioners.

Sacred Rain is a beautiful oasis in Ballard's brewery district, and is a peaceful place to work. We host four treatment rooms (one of them is used by our naturopathic physician), a locker room and showers, a 10-person outdoor sauna and a 10-foot diameter hot spa pool on a 2,200-square-foot private, outdoor, all-gender, clothing-optional sun deck. We are currently limited to private rentals on the deck.

We schedule 30 minutes between appointments to allow for adequate cleaning and therapist self-care. We keep fresh air coming into the facility as much as possible, have air purifiers in each treatment room and sanitize after every client comes through.

We currently are open 10 am to 8 pm, six days a week (closed on Sundays). Eventually, we expect to return to being open seven days a week.

Applicants must have valid Washington state LMT license and professional liability insurance.
