My approach to massage is rooted in attentive listening, skilled touch, and genuine care. I became a massage therapist because I have always been drawn to the way the body holds both effort and experience — and to the possibility of helping people feel more at ease, connected, and restored. Over more than 25 years in practice, I have learned to blend therapeutic technique with intuition, presence, and respect for each client’s individual needs. My work is guided by the belief that massage is not just about relieving tension, but about creating a space where the nervous system can settle, the body can release, and a person can return to themselves with more comfort, clarity, and balance.

Professional History

My employment history reflects more than 25 years of hands-on experience in therapeutic massage, bodywork, and wellness care. I began my career with my first practice, Nurture Your Nature, and have continued to serve private clients, athletes, performers, corporate teams, and community members in a variety of settings. My work has included massage support for the Pittsburgh Steelers Training Camp, University of Pittsburgh football and basketball programs, Live Nation backstage crews, and organizations such as PPG, United Way, and Duolingo. Today, through Dana Twigg Bodywork, I bring that depth of experience into a personalized private practice, offering attentive therapeutic massage and bodywork for people seeking relief, restoration, and steady support for an active life.
