Diagnosed with Scoliosis since middle school, I've grown up knowing back pain was only going to be the beginning of the chronic pain I would be experiencing throughout life. Not until 2011 did I realize massage therapy could potentially help sooth my back pain! I began to see a massage therapist, finally allowing myself some relief with deep tissue sessions. Not only was I in awe at how the massage decreased my pain, but when my therapist exclaimed one session that my back was gradually straightening out, it clicked. I thought 'I could do this for people!' And so began massage therapy school only a few weeks later.

Everything just fell into place, almost as if everything was second nature to me. I graduated from Everest College in Seattle with a 4.0 and all honors. Within my year of schooling, I also received a Massage Envy Scholarship I was very proud of, that went towards my schooling. I was proud to say that I was a licensed LMP when I passed my MBLEx exam!

My approach to massage is purely client based. It is all about the client and what their wants and needs are; as I enjoy customizing each treatment to match each individual client. When approaching any massage session, I go over a quick, condensed plan with them after some questions and listening to what they would like to accomplish in their session and once agreed, we begin! That way my client always know what they're going to receive before hand, which is always up for change depending on the client during the session! I always encourage my clients to give me feedback during a session if it is treatment, though if they prefer quietness I don't object! The more feedback, whether during or after a session, the better I can supply my clients with the work they want. I cater to my clients to the best of my abilities and strive to create a comfortable atmosphere for my clients to really achieve the goals they're seeking from their massage therapist!
