April, 2013 I'm Licensed massage therapist with a certificate from Institute for Business and Technology in Santa Clara.I'm an outgoing person with a positive attitude and great passion for massage therapy. I believe that it is easier to be peaceful and loving when our bodies are well. It gives me much joy when I help people achieve a healthier and more active lifestyle. In an effort to achieve this, I took it upon myself to learn a skill that would benefit others. I accomplished 750 hours during my massage certificate program, including 600 in-class training hours and 150 clinic hours. During this time, I completed 350 hands-on hours and 40 hours of nutrition education. In May of 2008, I volunteered to perform chair massages for an event in Liver more. In July, I volunteered for the Firefighters Olympics event in Sunnyvale. There I performed pre- and post- sports massages to 40 firefighters. I am very confident in my massage techniques. By combining my education and creativeness, I have developed my own style of massage techniques. I have received great feedback from clients upon using my deep tissue, sports massage, reflexology and rotator cuff, Kinesiology, trigger point, Swedish, cross fiber friction , rehabilitation, movement therapy, prenatal hot stone, and hydrotherapy. In addition to my education, I have an impeccable history of 20 years of professional customer service experience. During my many years as a cosmetologist, I gained a loyal client base that would continue to request my individual services. In accordance with my passion for health and fitness, I have achieved CPR and AED certification from the American Heart Association and first aid certification from the American Red Cross. I feel that the skills that I have acquired during my education and experience make for an excellent fit with the massage therapist position. I am very confident in my all massage techniques and an interview with your organization would grant me the opportunity to demonstrate their effectiveness.
