Responsibilities
Perform professional massage therapy sessions utilizing techniques such as deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy to address clients’ specific needs.
Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand individual health concerns, preferences, and treatment goals.
Develop customized treatment plans that incorporate knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology to ensure safe and effective care.
Educate clients on post-treatment care, self-care practices, and occupational health tips to support ongoing wellness.
Maintain detailed records of each session, including patient progress and treatment outcomes, adhering to confidentiality standards.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals or medical staff when necessary to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
Uphold the highest standards of customer service by creating a welcoming environment and ensuring client satisfaction throughout their visit.
Experience
Proven experience in massage therapy with a focus on pain management, deep tissue massage, and trigger point therapy.
Strong understanding of human physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to therapeutic massage.
Prior work in a med spa or similar healthcare setting is highly desirable.
Excellent patient service skills with the ability to assess individual needs accurately and adapt treatments accordingly.
Knowledge of occupational health principles and best practices for maintaining safety and hygiene standards during treatments.
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members to foster trust and professionalism.
