Job Title: Professional Massage TherapistJob SummaryWe are looking for a skilled and client-oriented Massage Therapist to join our team. You will provide professional therapeutic massages, relieve muscle tension, and promote overall well-being for our clients.Key Responsibilities
Assess Clients: Evaluate clients' soft tissue, medical history, and physical conditions to determine the best massage technique.
Provide Treatments: Perform various massage modalities (such as Swedish, deep tissue, sports, or hot stone massage).
Maintain Records: Keep accurate and confidential client treatment records.
Setup & Safety: Prepare the treatment room, ensure a clean, safe, and relaxing environment, and properly sanitize equipment.
Customer Care: Answer client questions and offer advice on stretching, relaxation, or posture improvement.
Requirements and Qualifications
Certification/License: Valid state license or certification in massage therapy.
Experience: Proven work experience as a massage therapist in a spa, clinic, or wellness center.
Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks requiring dexterity and strength.
Education: High school diploma and completion of an accredited massage therapy program.
