Job Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and skilled full or part time 1099 Licensed Massage Therapist, Acupuncturist or both to join our dynamic wellness team. Compensation based on percentage of reimbursed insurance payments. In this role, you will provide exceptional patient care through a variety of therapeutic techniques, helping clients achieve relief from pain, improve mobility, and enhance overall well-being. Responsibilities:
- Perform customized massage therapy sessions, including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy, tailored to each patient’s needs.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans.
- Charting progress accurately and billing accordingly for services provided.
- Utilize knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology to inform treatment approaches and communicate effectively with patients.
- Apply pain management techniques to alleviate discomfort and promote healing for various musculoskeletal conditions.
- Educate patients on self-care practices, occupational health strategies, and wellness routines to support ongoing recovery.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment by adhering to health regulations and clinic protocols.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care and optimal treatment outcomes.
Experience:
- Valid or pending WA state licensure as a Massage Therapist or Acupuncturist in accordance with state regulations.
- Proven experience in patient service, with a focus on delivering high-quality care in a medical setting.
- Hands-on expertise in cupping, deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and pain management techniques.
- Strong understanding of human physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to therapeutic practices.
- Prior experience working in a clinical environment is highly desirable.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to connect empathetically with diverse patient populations.

Details:
- 1099 contractor position.
- Times of room availability is limited by other provider working hours. Currently Thursdays through Sundays and evenings are available. Also other days during the week approximately once per month.
- Work as much or as little as you want in cooperation with the other providers.
- Compensation will be a percentage of reimbursed billed insurance payments, estimated to be approximately $60 per hour of massage, plus any tips or gratuity.

- We will handle all credentialing and billing management.
- This job will start slow and build as the community learns about your skills and potential for insurance reimbursement.
