Responsibilities
Perform lymphatic drainage face and body massages tailored to individual client needs, focusing on detoxification and swelling reduction.
Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate massage techniques and treatment plans.
Utilize advanced massage modalities including Swedish, deep tissue, sports massage, trigger point therapy, prenatal massage, and other therapeutic techniques to enhance results.
Educate clients on post-treatment care, benefits of lymphatic drainage therapy, and home maintenance practices.
Maintain detailed treatment records, ensuring accurate documentation of procedures performed and client progress.
Communicate effectively with clients to understand their concerns, explain treatment benefits, and build trust.
Adhere to all safety protocols including CPR certification and occupational health standards to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff.
Qualifications
Valid state licensure as a massage therapist with certification in lymphatic drainage techniques preferred.
Valid Nevada state Esthetician license.
Proven experience in massage therapy with a focus on lymphatic drainage.
Strong knowledge of human physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy.
Knowledge of Face sculpt massage techniques: Buccal, Gua Sha, Myofascial.
Experience with patient assessment, pain management strategies, and client communication skills.
Certifications in CPR and first aid are required; additional certifications in trigger point therapy or prenatal massage are a plus.
Prior experience working in a med spa or clinical setting is highly desirable.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to educate clients about treatment options and health benefits.
