Compensation & Schedule
- W-2 employee position
- Massage treatment pay: up to 60 USD/HR
- Paid non-treatment time: Minimum wage for scheduled time at the spa when not performing massage
- Tips and commissions: Full tips are your tips. 5% Commission over product sales
- Part-time schedule: Morning and/or afternoon shifts, Wednesday through Saturday. Flexible schedule, you determine your availability.
- Starting availability: At least 10 hours per week

About the Role
We’re looking for a Licensed Massage Therapist who enjoys therapeutic and restorative bodywork and can tailor each session to the client’s needs, goals, and comfort level.
Recoupia opened in 2026. We have ramping up our facial and wellness bookings and are developing our massage client base. This position offers the opportunity to help shape the massage experience within a small wellness team.
What You’ll Do
* Provide customized massage sessions, including Swedish, relaxation, hot stone, recovery-focused work, and other modalities within your training
* Conduct client intakes and adapt treatments to individual needs
* Offer appropriate aftercare and self-care guidance
* Maintain accurate client notes and follow Washington State massage therapy requirements
* Keep the treatment room clean, organized, and ready for clients
* Provide a safe, respectful, and professional experience
* Collaborate with the Recoupia team to support client care
What We’re Looking For
* Active Washington State Massage Therapist License in good standing
* Strong hands-on skills and the ability to personalize treatments
* Professionalism, reliability, and clear communication
* A warm, respectful approach that helps clients feel comfortable
* Interest in stress relief, recovery, and whole-person wellness
Experience in a spa, wellness clinic, chiropractic office, or multidisciplinary setting is helpful but not required. Additional training in lymphatic drainage, prenatal massage or recovery-focused bodywork is welcome.
