Job Overview
MedLife Massage is seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Massage Therapist to join our team on a per diem basis. In this role, you will provide high-quality therapeutic massage services to our clients, ensuring a relaxing and rewarding experience. This is a per diem/contractual position in which you will be providing chair massages within different facilities (mode of transportation is necessary).
The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care in a welcoming environment.
Responsibilities
Provide 15 minute massages over the course of a couple of hours using relaxation techniques.
Utilize knowledge of medical terminology and physiology to communicate effectively with clients regarding their health concerns.
Maintain accurate records of client sessions, treatments provided, and progress made.
Ability to upsell and promote our services.
Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns promptly.
Qualifications
Valid state licensure or certification in massage therapy.
Strong understanding of occupational health principles related to massage therapy.
Knowledge of pain management techniques and their application in therapeutic settings.
Proficiency in patient assessment methods to tailor treatments effectively.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
Experience in a med spa or similar environment is preferred but not required.
Familiarity with various massage techniques including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy is highly desirable.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends as needed.
