Part-Time | $30–$35/hour | San Francisco | Paid Training
Are you a massage therapist or bodyworker who loves helping people — but may be ready for something different from traditional massage?
Healthy Life Chiropractic is looking for a warm, caring, hands-on person to join our patient care team.
This is NOT a massage therapy position.
Instead, we will train you to provide two specialized therapies used in our chiropractic practice:
· Percussive therapy
· Erchonia cold-laser therapy
Your massage or bodywork background gives you something we value tremendously: comfort working with the human body, good hands, and an understanding of how to care for people.
What the job is like
You’ll work one-on-one with our patients in short, focused therapy sessions, typically 4 patients per hour.
You’ll be trained to:
· Provide targeted percussive therapy using our established protocols
· Provide Erchonia cold-laser therapy following doctor-prescribed protocols
· Prepare and care for patients before and during treatment
· Write brief treatment notes
· Help keep patient care flowing smoothly
· Assist our chiropractic team with light clinical and administrative tasks between patients
No cold-laser or percussion experience is necessary. We provide paid training.
This could be a wonderful fit if you…
· Are a massage therapist or experienced therapeutic bodyworker
· Love working with people but would enjoy a change from performing traditional massage
· Have excellent hands-on awareness and feel comfortable working with the body
· Are naturally warm, kind and attentive
· Like being busy and moving throughout your day
· Are dependable and organized
· Enjoy learning new skills and following clear treatment protocols
· Want to be part of a close-knit healthcare team
Schedule
Approximately 20 hours per week to start:
Monday: 8am–12pm & 2pm–6pm
Tuesday: 8am–12pm & 2pm–6pm
Friday: 8am–12pm
There is opportunity for additional hours and growth for the right person
