Sports and Clinical Massage Therapist position at Soma Sports Massage Clinic in San Francisco

CURRENT OPENINGS: must be available for at least 3 shifts (4-5 sessions per shift)
-Saturday and/or Sunday a must with availability during the week

ABOUT US: (And You...)
We have a strong, highly skilled team of sports and clinical massage therapists who:
-Partner with our clients and combine a wide range of Sports and Clinical modalities
-Individually-customize massage programs for short and long term issues
Short term sessions are designed for each client's needs, whether relief of chronic pain, ankle sprain, tendonitis, competition recovery, muscle overuse, body maintenance, scar reduction, soreness or simply relaxation.
-Form treatment plans for clients and have successful rebooking practices
-Bodywork for Life- believe in maintenance/preventative massage programs for our clients and design treatment plans to reflect this
-Have experience working with athletes like cyclists, runners, triathletes, etc.
-Have experience working with/healing injuries like repetitive strain
-Are confident supplying their professional opinion to reach client goals
REQUIREMENTS:
* minimum of 800 hours massage training - including courses in both Sports and Clinical Deep Tissue
* minimum of 500 professional massages
*impeccable Anatomy knowledge
*ability to create a treatment plan for clients
*professional and motivated to be involved in a client's healing process
*positive energy to add to our work environment
*experience in on-site corporate work and sporting events
*experience with injuries and athletes a must
*keeping up with continuing education
*committed to helping bring clients into the practice
