Job description
We’re a private, welcoming wellness studio right in the heart of Green Lake, and we’re looking for a warm, upbeat Licensed Massage Therapist to join our team. Our space feels like an oasis in the city — think soft lighting, calming music, and clients who leave feeling like new humans. We love what we do and we genuinely care about each other and our clients.
A little about the role: You’ll give fantastic, customized massages that actually help people feel better. Because we don’t have a front-desk team, you’ll also be the friendly face who chats with clients, helps them rebook (we make it easy!), and keeps everything running smoothly.
What you’ll be doing
- Delivering amazing Swedish, deep tissue, or whatever modalities you love.
- Doing thoughtful client intakes and creating simple treatment plans.
- Keeping the studio sparkling — light housekeeping before, during, and after your shifts (changing linens, tidying rooms, restocking towels— the usual stuff that keeps our space feeling fresh)
- Giving warm, genuine customer service and gently guiding clients to rebook because we want them to keep feeling great
- Taking great SOAP notes so we can give every client that “wow, they really listened” experience
We’d love to meet you if you are
- A currently licensed (or in the process of obtaining a license) Massage Therapist in Washington State (new grads welcome — we love fresh energy!)
- Must be fully Licensed/Certified to perform Massage Therapy prior to performing sessions at the studio
- A true self-starter who’s happy to jump in and handle whatever needs doing
- Someone who enjoys connecting with people and doesn’t mind a little housekeeping (it’s part of keeping our private vibe alive)
- Reliable, kind, and excited to be part of a small team
- We would love to speak with both fresh graduates and experienced massage therapists alike, with a variety of knowledge and or experience ranging from private practice, resort spa, medical massage therapy, medical spa, and everything in between.
Here’s what we give you in return
- You completely set your own schedule — work as much or as little as you want
- $45/ massage hr or 45% commission whichever pays you more (every single time) + tips (tips are 100% yours!) and compensation for housekeeping tasks, up to $100/ month
