We are a family owned business (husband & wife team). Carpe Diem Massage is a very special quaint boutique style business. We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of various massage techniques and therapies, with a focus on service and pain management. This role requires the ability to assess patient needs and provide tailored treatments that promote relaxation, healing, and overall well-being. Must be able to work independently by: checking in & out & rebook clients on square. Must be available weekends & evenings
Responsibilities
Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine individual needs and treatment plans
Provide a variety of massage techniques including deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, Ashiatsu and prenatal a plus, and other modalities as appropriate
Utilize knowledge of anatomy and physiology to ensure safe and effective treatments
Maintain accurate records of patient treatments, progress, and any relevant medical terminology
Deliver exceptional customer service to enhance the overall patient experience
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in massage therapy
Requirements
Valid massage therapy license in accordance with state regulations
Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology
Experience in pain management techniques and patient assessment skills
Proficiency in deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy
Previous experience in a med spa or similar environment is preferred but not required
Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on patient service and customer satisfaction
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $45.00 - $60.00 per hour
