Responsibilities
Perform a variety of massage therapies including Swedish, deep tissue, sports, trigger point therapy, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments tailored to each client’s needs
Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans and ensure effective pain management
Communicate clearly with clients to understand their concerns, explain treatment procedures, and provide post-session care advice
Maintain detailed records of treatments, client progress, and any relevant medical or physiological information using proper medical terminology
Ensure a safe environment by adhering to all health and safety protocols, including CPR certification requirements
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals when necessary to support comprehensive patient care
Stay current with industry best practices and expand your expertise in physiology knowledge, anatomy knowledge, and occupational health trends
Must work weekends
Requirements
Valid certification as a Massage Therapist from an accredited program
Proven experience in massage therapy with knowledge of multiple techniques such as Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, sports massage, trigger point therapy, and prenatal massage
Strong understanding of human physiology and anatomy to accurately assess client needs and tailor treatments accordingly
Excellent patient service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and empathetically with diverse clients
Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to massage therapy and healthcare settings
Current CPR certification is required for safety compliance
Prior experience in pain management or occupational health settings is highly desirable
Ability to work flexible hours in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail

Pay: $50.00 - $75.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15.0 – 20.0 per week
